New York, New York - The BMCC men's volleyball team added another major mark in the young history of the program, clinching the third seed for the Region XV Men's Volleyball Tournament, for the 2nd straight season by earning a split with a straight sets victory over Monroe-Bronx (25-20, 25-22, 34-32) before falling to the Monroe University Mustangs in straight sets.

With the split, the Panther's record stands at 5-8 (3-5 Region XV), allowing the program some much-needed rest for the Region XV Championship, avoiding the play-in game on March 25th. The Region XV Championship will be held on Saturday, March 29th at Nassau Community College, with your 3rd seeded Panthers scheduled to play the 2nd seeded Monroe University Mustangs at 2pm.
