NEW YORK, NY - Panthers knock off their second Division II team on the season, upending the Senators of Ulster County Community College by a score of 80-67.
A well-balanced offensive attack, saw the Panthers shoot 46% from beyond the arc; connecting on 12-26 three point attempts. Leading the offensive charge for the Panthers was Khalil Black (Queens, New York). The sophomore connected on 5-11 trifectas and had a game-high 26 points.
Jarrell Tatum, a sophomore from the Bronx, New York, had a strong performance finishing with 15 points on 5-9 shooting from the field, including an impressive 3-4 from 3-point range. On the glass, freshman
Zaden Henderson (Brooklyn, New York) finished with a team-high 9 rebounds to go along with his 3 blocked shots.
With the win, the Panthers extend their winning streak to two games and improve to 8-13 overall, 5-4 in conference play.
