Panthers Finish XC Season 13th in the Country
NEW YORK, NY - The Panthers wrapped the 2025 Men's Cross Country season with an impressive 13th overall finish in the country at the NJCAA National Championship in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Leading the way for the Panthers was freshman
Saikou Sanyang (Gambia) with a time of 31:31.8 and a finish of 60th overall. Joining Sanyang, in the top 100 were
Thomas Black IV (Queens, New York), Gaury Peralta Valerio (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic),
and
Dalton Ligon (New York, New York) who finished 90th, 93rd and 100th overall, respectively. Rounding out the 5th sport for the Panthers was
Hassani Bangurah (Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania) who 108th overall.
Overall, the 4th year of the Cross Country program at BMCC was a tremendous success, which included a Region XV Championship and Coach of the Year honors. Coach V will now look to recruit the next wave of BMCC Panthers looking to make their mark on the Cross Country program!
