New York, NY - Sophomores
Khalil Black (Queens, New York) & Kimmeo Dixson (Bronx, New York) once again paced the Panthers offensively with 26 points and 17 points, respectively, to help end their 3-game skid and sweep the season series over LaGuardia Community College with a 74-57 victory. The first-half of this game was dictated by a stout Panthers defense that only allowed 23 points, turning the Redhawks multiple times, including one defensive stop that led a to monstrous fast break dunk from Sophomore
Nick Baksh (Brooklyn, New York). Entering the half, with a decisive 39-23 lead, the Panthers would coast in the second half to a 74-57 victory.
With the win, the Panthers have clinched a spot in the CUNY CC Postseason, and improve their record to (5-10 overall, 4-4 CUNY). They will next take the court on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, at 1pm, when they play host to Region XV rival Nassau Community College.
