(New York, NY) On Tuesday afternoon, Richard Suriel (Queens, New York) got the start on the mound as the Panthers played host to the Broncos of Bronx Community College in their 2022 season opener.  The Broncos scored 8 runs in the first two innings in route to an early 8-2 lead.  The Panthers showed some fight in the 4th inning led by freshman Abdel Raheem Dolah (Brooklyn, New York) who crushed a 3 run homerun out to left center to cut into the Broncos lead.  Ultimately, the Broncos were able to add to their lead and pull away with an 18-5 win.  With the loss, the Panthers fall to (0 -1 Overall, 0-1 CUNYAC) and are slated to return to the field on Friday, March 18th to continue their series with Bronx Community College.
