New York, New York – As the 2022 calendar year comes to a close, the BMCC men's basketball team is beginning to hit their stride as the Panthers got scoring contributions from 12 different players in a dominant 87-56 victory over CUNYAC opponent Bronx C.C. Tuesday night at BMCC Gymnasium. BMCC's third straight victory, their biggest of the year, gets them to .500 on the season at 4-4 (3-0 CUNYAC), while the loss drops Bronx C.C. to 0-10 (0-3 CUNYAC).
Twelve different Panthers registered a point in Tuesday night's contest. Freshman led the offensive charge with a team-high 13 points, while classmate posted his first career-double double with scoring 11 points and hauling down a team-best 10 rebounds.

Leverson Tulien (Roslyn Heights, New York) leading the offensive charge with a team-high 13 points. Classmate
Daniel Laffitte (New York, New York) posted his first career-double double with 11 points and a team-best 10 rebounds, while fellow underclassman
Edgardo Sanchez (Brooklyn, New York) also chipped in with 11 points of his own.
Freshman
Abdoul Toure (Brooklyn, New York) dished out a career and game-high five assists while classmate
Tulien also hauled down eight rebounds, all offensive. Underclassman
Amaziah Richberg (Brooklyn, New York) registered 10 points and led the Panthers with a game-high six steals while
Tulien swatted away a team-best two shots.
Freshman
Boubacar Mbaye (Staten Island, New York) recorded a career-best nine points on the evening.
Freshman Ysaia Marte (Bronx, New York) and sophomore Jeremiah Cardi (New York, New York) scored eight points.
Underclassmen
Jayden Jarrett (Bronx, New York), Elijah Paul (Brooklyn, New York), and
Toure had six and four points, while classmates
Joshua Cardi (New York, New York) and
Jose Rodriguez (Brooklyn, New York) had two points apiece.
After the Bronx Community College opened the scoring nine seconds in on an Enmanuel Garcia layup, BMCC took over for the rest of the evening constructing a 30-9 run over the next 10:53 to lead by 19, 30-11 at the 8:59 mark on a Jarrett layup.
Mbaye's three-pointer with 6:04 to get the Panther advantage to its largest of the first half, 25, 38-13, and after
Richberg's layin at 3:49 got the 40-17 at 3:49 before the Broncos battled to cut the lead down to 14, 42-28 at halftime.
BMCC dominated the entire second half building their lead to its largest of the night, 33, 84-51 at 1:54 on a
Jose Rodriguez (Brooklyn, New York) layup. The Panthers would coast the rest of the way en route to an 87-56 victory.
Herbert Gary led the Broncos in scoring and on the glass with a game-high 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Taijay Good chipped in with 15 points and dished out a team-best three assists. Enmanuel Garcia also turned away a game-high four shots.
