Garden City, New York - The BMCC women's basketball team was defeated on the road 69-27 in Region 15 action on Saturday afternoon in Garden City, New York. The Lions move to 2-0 on the season with the victory, while the Panthers drop to 0-3.
Freshman Demaris Andrews (Bayonne, New Jersey) led the Panther's offense with 14 points for her third straight double-digit scoring performance. Classmate Amanda Araujo (Bronx, New York) contributed nine points, and sophomore Alicia Tomby (Berbice, Guyana) had four.
