Selden, New York - The BMCC women's soccer team was defeated 6-0 by Suffolk C.C. on Thursday afternoon in Region 15 play in Seldon, New York. The Panthers finish the season 1-3 (1-3 Region XV), while the Sharks improve to 4-5 (3-0 Region XV).
Suffolk registered all six of the match's goals in the first half, with Kerry Fitt netting two, including the game-winner, while Ava Ruiz also had a pair. Mabel Mejia Lazo and Dayanara Perez had the final two markers to give the Sharks a 6-0 halftime advantage which they carried all the way to the final whistle.

Charlotte Canete had a career day in the season finale for the Panthers, making a career-best 17 stops.
