New York, NY--- The Borough of Manhattan Community College Lady Panthers fell to Monroe Express in their second straight game, 92-25.
"Our team made a few improvements from our first game, but it just wasn't our night for a few of our players," said BMCC Women's Basketball Coach,
Eric Almonte. "The press kept doing what it was meant to do, and without the looks you want at the basket it's tough to win."
The Lady Panthers were lead by Syrina Ganputt, who had nine points and grabbed three rebounds.
"Monroe is a tough team and they're stacked," said Coach Almonte. "I'm hopeful next time we play them that we'll be ready, tougher, and more experienced."
BMCC drops to 0-2. Conference play begins on Tuesday, November 23 against Hostos Community College.
