New York, NY | The women's basketball team matched up against the SUNY Orange Colts in a non-region game on Thursday night. The teams fought back and forth for forty minutes, but in the end the Colts would hit a game-winning three pointer in the final minute of regulation and escape BMCC Gymnasium with a win.

Lady Panthers' Naya Verley recorded a double-double in points [12] and rebounds [11]. The freshman forward made the most out of her scoring opportunities by going 6 for 9 from the floor. Autum Adams-Edwards provided a spark off of the bench by scoring a team-high 14 points to go along with 3 assists. Awa Fall finished the game with 9 points and 11 rebounds, while Daisaiah Smalls added on with 9 points and 8 rebounds.

The Lady Panthers will return to action on Tuesday when they face off against the Kingsborough Wave in Brooklyn, NY. BMCC will be looking to complete the season sweep of KCC and bring their conference record above .500 with a win. Tip off is set for 6 PM.
