Bronx, NY | Following a 10 day stretch without a game, the Lady Panthers needed to shake off the rust and prepare to take on the Bronx Broncos on Tuesday night. BMCC built up a 13 point lead in the first half and did not look back, capturing their third win of the season with a final score of 54-34.
The Lady Panthers offense was led by
Autum Adams-Edwards, the freshman point guard recorded a game-high 16 points to go along with 5 rebounds.
Awa Fall racked up 13 points and 9 rebounds after coming in off of the bench. As the Lady Panthers won the rebounding margin by +10,
Daja Dennis-Humphrey and
Aniyah Davis did their part to keep the glass clean with 11 and 8 rebounds, respectively.
Ayanna Graham created problems for the Broncos offense all game, the sophomore team captain grabbed 7 steals in her best defensive performance of the season.
With the win, BMCC brought their region record to 3-3 and moved up to 2-1 in the conference. They will return to action on Thursday to take on the Bergen Bulldogs at 5:45 pm.
