Bronx, NY | With the first half of the season winding down, the men's basketball team looked to keep their undefeated record intact on Tuesday night and finish the semester at perfect 4-0 in conference games. In front of a raucous crowd at Alumni Gym, BMCC built up a second half lead against the Bronx and held on to win 90-82.
Playing on the road in a hostile environment, BMCC remained poised and executed the gameplan to perfection. The Panthers shot a combined 32 for 59 (54.2%) from the field, while limiting the Broncos to just 37.2% on field goal attempts.
Terrell Fullerton poured in a game-high 33 points and 7 assists, his performance marks the fourth time this season the sophomore guard has recorded 30 or more points in a single game. By going 5 of 7 from behind the three-point arc, including a pair of three pointers to stretch the lead to double-digits in the final minutes,
Quran Dublin added on with another 21 points. Panthers forward
Ashan Adams was 3 rebounds shy of a double-double, he finished the game with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
BMCC will return to action on Thursday night when they host the Bergen Bulldogs in a men's and women's doubleheader. The Panthers are set to tip off 20 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game, at approximately 7:45pm.
