Valhalla, NY | The Lady Panthers took on the top-seeded Hostos Caimans in the Region 15 Championship Final on Sunday afternoon. BMCC entered the game with their sights set on a championship win and national tournament berth, but the Caimans would outlast the Lady Panthers squad for their 25
th consecutive win in a 69-52 victory.

th double-double of the season with 17 points and 16 rebounds. Brooks would be joined on the All-Tournament team by
Natalija Dubrovina after she racked up 34 points on Saturday to propel BMCC into the championship game.
This loss caps off a stellar season for head coach Ben Newberg, adding 13 wins to last season's total to finish with a 20-7 overall record and two tournament championship runner-up finishes. Bolstering a freshman-laden roster, the coaching staff has a reason to be optimistic about the future of the program and will look to continue to contend deep into the postseason next season.
