New York, NY | BMCC men's basketball took the court on Thursday night in a Region XV matchup against the Rockland Hawks. After taking control of the game with a barrage of three pointers in the first half, BMCC was able to rest their starters in the second half and come away with a 87-74 victory over the Hawks.
The Panthers hit a combined 7 three-pointers in the first half while holding the Hawks to 6-of-29 from the field to enter halftime with a decisive 26 point lead. In the second half, BMCC continued to move the ball around to find open shots, point guard

Anthony McClean went 10-for-13 from the field to lead the team in scoring with 24 points.
Adem Gutic had a strong second half for BMCC, the forward from Dyckman, NY racked up 15 points and 9 rebounds despite playing just 26 minutes.
With the win, the Panthers move to 9-6 overall and will face a tough test on the road at Dutchess this Saturday before returning home to face the Nassau Lions on Tuesday.
