|Â Down by 22 entering the final quarter, the Lady Panthers hit shot after shot to come storming back. After a 22-4 run, they drew within 4 with 30 seconds left, but the comeback fell just short as they lost by final score of 55-50.
On BMCC's senior night, two second year players finished the game in double digits.
Ashley Duplan opened up the scoring for the Lady Panthers by hitting back to back threes, she would go on to finish the game with 10 points. Meanwhile, second year transfer student
Kiara Atkins recorded 11 points and finished with a season-high 9 rebounds. Freshman
Ashley Brooks led the Lady Panthers as she tallied 18 points while tying her season-high in rebounding with 22.
The women's basketball team will be on the road for the remainder of the regular season, with their next game coming against the Sullivan County Generals on Saturday.Â
