Suffern, NY | The Lady Panthers beat the Rockland Hawks by a final score of 54-37 on Sunday to finish the regular season with back-to-back wins. With a 10 point lead at the end of the first half, BMCC did not let up, going on a 16-4 run in the third quarter to rout their regional opponent. The Lady Panthers stifling defense held the Hawks to 13-for-38 from the field while forcing 21 turnovers in the win.

Kiara Atkins dished out 6 assists and led the team with 16 points of her own after shooting an impressive 47% from the field.
Ashley Duplan hit three 3 pointers on her way to 14 points on the night, the sophomore has now reached double-digit scoring figures in 4 of her last 5 games. CUNYAC Rookie of the Year candidate
Ashley Brooks finished the game with 12 points and 11 rebounds for her 12
th double-double of the season.
The women's basketball team will look to continue their win streak tomorrow night when they take on the LaGuardia Red Hawks in the opening round of the CUNYAC Playoffs. The women's semifinal round is set to begin at 6pm tomorrow, with the Lady Panthers-Red Hawks squaring off in the late game at 8pm.
