New York, NY | The women's volleyball team travelled to Midtown Manhattan on Thursday night for their matchup against the FIT Tigers. Heading into the contest, the Lady Panthers were trailing the Tigers in the regional standings by 1 point. The teams battled back and forth the entire match, but after 5 grueling sets, the Lady Panthers came out on top with a final score of 3-2 for a season sweep their Region 15 rival.

With the win, the Lady Panthers have won four of their last five and will move into 4^th place in the region. They have the opportunity to clinch a home court match in the opening round of the regional tournament, but first they will have to win their final two matches against Sullivan County and Orange County this Saturday. This weekend's double-duel is set to begin at noon.
