NEW YORK, NY| The #4 Borough of Manhattan Community College men's basketball team defeated Hostos Community College 83-73 in the CUNYAC Community College Tournament Semifinal on Wednesday night and will play in the final on Friday, February 20 against Bronx Community College at 8:30 PM.Captain Joseph Ojo led the Panthers in scoring with 19 points. The guard shot 5-11 from the field and nabbed two steals to see the Panthers past the Caimans. Guard Elijah Bryant shot 9-10 from the free-throw line and posted 16 points and six assists.Â
Neil Viera contributed 13 points off the bench, shooting 4-7 from the field and 5-6 from the line. The freshman also established a career-best with three blocks.

Ken Coar posted another double-double, scoring 18 points (7-11 FG) and adding 10 rebounds.

The Panthers out-rebounded (48-33) and out-shot (47.2%-38.8%) the Caimans in the win. BMCC also held a steep advantage in blocks (13-1).

The final will be played inside BMCC Gym and is set to start at 8:30 PM. The game will be streamed live by Bronxnet. Check back for details regarding the stream.
