New York, NY |Â It was a rough day for the Lady Panthers on offense as they shot under 20% from the field. Their offensive struggles allowed the Broncos to begin the game with a 12-0 run. Despite a 13-0 run by the Panthers in the middle of the game, BMCC had too much ground to make up, and the game ended with a 62-27 final score.
Ashley Duplan was the leading scorer for the Panthers, the sophomore guard finished the game with 8 points, including 2 shots from behind the arc. The two forwards for the Panthers rebounded well,
Takisha Weekes would finish with 8 overall, while the region leader in rebounding,
Ashley Brooks, grabbed 9 boards.
The Women's Basketball will enjoy a long break before returning to action on January 7
th when they travel to LaGuardia to take on the Red Hawks.
