The BMCC Panthers kicked off a four game series with the Bronx Broncos Tuesday afternoon. The Panthers lost to the Broncos 15-10 in 8 innings, after the game was called for darkness.

The Panthers offense got off to a fast start in the bottom of the 1st, with the first eight players reaching base and the first seven scoring runs, to take a 7-2 lead after 1 inning. The Broncos tied the game in the top of the 2nd, scoring 5 runs off of starter Dom Giaramida.

After that point forward, the Panthers were outscored 8-3.

Freshman Wilson Aristy led the Panthers going 3-for-4 with 3RBI and 2 runs scored. Freshman Eric Gonzalez had a bases clearing triple in the first inning on his way to a 1-for-3 day. Daniel Mota and Rodney Newell all scored two runs.

The Panthers resume the series with the Broncos on Friday afternoon.
